CONGRATULATIONS: Robin competed in the NPAA May 2012 in her first fitness competition.


In 2011 I found myself at a low point in my life needing something... but I didn't know what. I was a 3-days-a-week at the gym girl and was tired of seeing no results. I wanted a goal and something to focus on. I saw competition pictures of a high school friend and asked her who her trainer was... she put me into contact with Lisa.

I NEVER thought I could be one of those people who competed in a fitness competition. Anyone who knows me would have been shocked that I was taking on a goal where I'd be onstage in front of 500 people... I hated being centre of attention! What I did want was to find some meaning and purpose in my life and to challenge myself. This was the hardest thing I've ever done... so why do it? Because it is so worth it!! You will get to know yourself, you will learn to love yourself, you will become friends with yourself and you will bring out a side of yourself that you never thought existed... all thanks to Lisa.

Each week I would do measurements and a weigh-in and I would receive a personalized meal plan. Everything is laid out for you... you just do it. Yes, at times it is hard, but nothing good in life comes easy. At the beginning. I would get flashes of doubt and I was actually terrified of making it to the end, but this is something you do not need to worry about. Just put your trust in Lisa, follow the plan, take it week by week and by the end you will be ready mentally and physically to take the stage. It has been three months since my first competition and I still think about it every day. Thank you Lisa.
